References _____________________________________ SPECIAL OFFER Admittedly it has been awhile since I've written an issue of Making Lives Simpler. So, what have I been doing? A standard response might be to say, "Being busy!" However, that can conjure up quick images of a frantic fast-paced life of juggling multiple tasks, long hours at work, family demands, and additional personal to-dos. Whew, doesn't much sound like "Simplifying Life" to me! Well, for me, being busy means that the time I allot for my Simplify Life business each week is planned and accounted for while still having additional pre-determined time to comfortably prioritize for other things in my life. I'm busy, but not frantic. For instance, I set aside special times to share with family over the year-end holidays and into the New Year. This is valuable time for me that I reserve for my personal enjoyment, nurturing, self- care, fun and rejuvenation, and time that I do not allow for use for my business activities. My business got its own time as well, and equally so, it was time that was not used for personal activities. This just meant that things got done at a different pace, a simplified pace, and one without deadlines or pressure. By planning, scheduling and separating personal and business time, the things that are most important to you, like time with your family, time for yourself, and appropriate time for work, it becomes much easier to say "no" when someone or something else tries to schedule itself or barge into your dedicated times. But don't try to schedule every single minute of every day because you will need time reserves for the important "unexpecteds." One of the things I have been doing with my business time recently is revising my Simplify Your Life tips eBooklet. This new eBooklet is now for sale with a slightly different title, "Simplify Your Life: 101 Ways to Create the Life You'll Love," a table of contents to help you find what you're looking for more easily, some updated tips for more effectiveness, and the opportunity to offer the eBooklet for sale in retail locations. For instance, it can now be purchased through Amazon.com among other outlets. In conjunction with all that, I'd like to celebrate by presenting this special offer to you. While supplies last, I would like to gift you, at a nominal cost, with a copy of my previous edition of my tips eBooklet. It's my appreciation for those of you who have supported my work over the years. Some of you have been reading my newsletter "Making Lives Simpler" since I started in November of 1997. That first issue went to about 90 people. Today, nearly 2000 people from around the world receive this newsletter, and for that I am most grateful. So to each of you, I say, "Thank you." This edition's "5 Quick Tips" show you how to get your tip eBooklet copy.
